We couldn't be happier that the Oakland via Panama group Los Rakas' brand new song "Hot" is featured on the Official FIFA 14 Soccer Game Soundtrack alongside Nine Inch Nails, Chvrches, Marcelo D2 and Vampire Weekend!

EA Sports' "FIFA 14" came out last week in the United States and was released worldwide on September 27th. The song "Hot" is off of their as-yet-to-be-released forthcoming double-disc project, "El Negrito Dun Dun & Ricardo", which is set to be released in 2014.

"This is a huge honor and dream come true for Los Rakas." Raka Dun says. "Being Panamanian and raised in the United States, FIFA connects us to the larger Latin American and global community. Soccer is our second love behind music."

According to Billboard, EA Music Supervisor Cybele Pettus describes the overall sound of the music featured in FIFA as “Celebratory and rhythmic. You want to get fired up like you get fired up if you’re at one of these games.”

Speaking to the sound of the song Raka Rich says, "'Hot' is great for the FIFA 14 soundtrack because of the drums. Raka Stylo - one of our main producers - captured the intensity of the sport through the sound of the song. I think people will really enjoy it."

We agree with EA Music Group president Steven Schnur's statement in Billboard, "The one thing that is important to know about the FIFA soundtrack is that it represents not just where music is at, but where music is on a global scale. Soccer/fútbol is a sport that has no boundaries." We are so excited for the world to hear what Raka Love is all about!
