In 2006, from a tiny apartment in Beachwood Canyon, our fearless leader started Secret Road with the desire to help independent artists get exposure via sync. A proud east coaster and Philadelphia native, Lynn played volleyball in the Big East Conference for Syracuse University before moving to NYC to start her career in music. Secret Road has now grown into a multifaceted entertainment company that has introduced artists like Alexi Murdoch, Walk the Moon, American Authors, Andy Grammer, The Civil Wars and Fitz and the Tantrums to the film / TV / advertising community. Additionally, Lynn was the music supervisor for the TV series HOUSE MD and the film Humor Me, starring Jemaine Clement and Elliott Gould. One of Lynn’s favorite achievements was when management client, Ingrid Michaelson became the first Independent artist to be on the cover of Billboard Magazine due to their trailblazing DIY approach to business. When she isn’t running the world of Secret Road, you’ll find Lynn on the tennis court or watching a sunset in Malibu.

Peter Buck
A&R | Creative Manager
Pete is a Nashville based Philly native currently acting as A&R for Secret Road. After graduating from Belmont University in 2017 with a degree in music business and a love for serving artists/songwriters, Pete got his start in the business working as the front desk receptionist for Big Deal Music Nashville and discovered sync as viable outlet for writers looking to find success in genres outside of the country market. He is now responsible for signing new talent to Secret Road’s eclectic roster of 180+ artists and manages the creative endeavors of over 30 active writers and producers based across Nashville, NYC, and LA. When Pete isn’t setting up co-writes, he’s probably buying used books and vinyl, snapping photos, doing yoga, boxing, or training for half-marathons (because full marathons are straight-up ridiculous).

Janice Soled
LICENSING ADMINISTRATOR
Janice joined Secret Road in 2023. She’s tackled the administrative side of the music industry from NYC to LA to Nashville, lovingly termed the Music Industry Bermuda Triangle, and has now settled near Philly for a while.
After early stints at Z-100 Radio and MTV Networks, she spent many years with the Sony and Universal Label Groups handling A&R Administration and Special Markets Production.
As an independent Music Production Coordinator, the Dixie Chicks debut album and supporting Brooks Arthur and Adam Sandler were major high points, along with countless others.
Janice found doing sync licensing at Sony Pictures Music Division to be the career a-ha moment, moving on to handing sync and mechanical licensing for a Nashville-based publishing administration company and later as a consultant. She continues to be a proud music publisher super-sleuth. When taking a break from the work she is thrilled to do, she’ll always find time to plan international travel, seek good coffee and listen to British pop bands.
