"This song was inspired, written and recorded in quarantine. I wrote it with Jordy Searcy sending voice memos back and forth the day after I flew home from the 'Old Friends Acoustic Tour' being cancelled. In April I decided to record it and put it out. The original version has had over 5 million streams and inspired the #CoffeeDadShuffle, bringing fans and their families together to create fun videos during this uncertain time.

When I wrote it, I kept feeling like it was really a duet, and as I started dreaming up an acoustic version, I felt like Ingrid Michaelson's voice would be a perfect fit.”
