Chance Peña secured his first major label cut with John Legend’s “Conversations in the Dark” in early 2020. The song was written by Legend, Gregg Wattenberg, Jesse Fink, Kellen "Pom Pom" Pomeranz and Chance Peña, and was produced by Gregg Wattenberg and Pom Pom. It was the lead single for Legend's latest and now Grammy-Award winning album, Bigger Love. Legend's Bigger Love won Best R&B Album at 63rd Annual Grammy Awards on March 14, 2021.
The single has amassed over 65 million streams on Spotify alone, while the David Guetta mix is close to 57 million streams on Spotify. We send our congratulations to John Legend and his team!

Born and raised in Tyler, Texas, Chance Pena is a 21 year-old singer/songwriter and producer who cultivates a unique style of traditional storytelling infused with modern musical influences.
Peña competed on season 9 of the hit TV show, The Voice, at age 15, and worked with coach Adam Levine to further advance his knowledge and confidence as an artist. He released his debut EP, anxiety & mixed emotions, in 2019 via Secret Road Records/The Orchard. He most recently released the single “Panicked,” and has more slated for this year.
