Blackout Tuesday Action Plan | Accountability and Commitment

Created date

June 12, 2020

On Blackout Tuesday, Secret Road held a company-wide forum to determine action items we can commit to, individually and collectively, to support the reform that is so badly needed in this country.

In response, we've committed to listening and educating ourselves about systemic racism and pledge to take the following actions:

1) Offer mentorships and internships to Black students interested in the music industry.
2) Spread awareness and donate to organizations supporting social justices.
3) Proactively champion equality within our company and roster of clients.
4) Nurture and create opportunities for emerging Black artists / songwriters / producers.
5) Hold monthly check-ins with our team to ensure we are fulfilling our pledge.

We also encourage our colleagues to engage in conscious citizenship and to make a positive impact in their own communities.
