Highlighted as one of Teen Vogue’s ‘Women Reshaping Music’ in 2019, this Ohio-native and Brooklynite’s unique voice & brand of soul, rock, electronic and R&B has garnered a global fan base and brought her to stages around the world from New York, to Tokyo, to London. As a queer, Black woman in music who’s a singer-songwriter, producer & composer – Tangina Stone is “reshaping what identity and spaces of expression feel like” for Black women in music.
Her first full-length album, Elevate, was released in 2017 and debuted at #27 on the iTunes Top R&B Albums chart and at #44 on Apple Music Japan Top R&B Albums chart. As she preps her sophomore release, she has released a few singles, including “More” and “Petty.”
A survivor, activist, artist and business woman – Tangina Stone’s music will notably impact the musical landscape as she continues to be a beacon for artists who don’t settle for the standard, they recreate it.
