Sometimes a talented artist comes along who has the skills to give the legends a run for their money. Staten Island rapper Tyrone Briggs may just be that artist.

Tyrone first began to garner national attention in 2014 when his song ‘Spartacus’ was featured on Sirius XM’s Shade 45 by DJ KaySlay & Tony Touch. Unable to ignore his vicious delivery and songwriting ability, hip-hop taste-makers like XXL, Hot 97 Who’s Next, The Source, Respect Magazine and others began to feature his music. In 2015, Briggs opened for Nas and Drake at Irving Plaza during NBA All-Star Weekend, after winning the Sprite “Thirst for the Boroughs” competition and beating out every artist from every borough in New York City.

He released his first EP a year later and has continued to release singles and EP's. A prolific content creator, he continues to deliver his signature stadium rocking and melodic hip hop anthems, showing the world he is anything but the underdog when it comes to his elite musical talent.
