With a deep-rooted love of all things entertainment, a career in sync licensing fits like a glove for this New Yorker. Derek comes to Secret Road with a rich background in the music industry, coming most recently from Bank Robber Music and Rough Trade Publishing, where he was pitching their immense roster of music to music supervisors across all media types. Additional experience includes working for Gravitation (a Swedish record label), assistant managing indie artist The Tallest Man On Earth, and a brief stint in music marketing at Nylon and music coordinating for Nylon TV.

Lauriana Zuluaga is a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art /SIM in Boston where she began touring as a spoken word artist while studying experimental noise/visual & sound design/fine art/production. After several failed attempts to explain conceptual art to her parents, she joined “The Art Cheerleaders” and entered the DIY punk/Riot Grrrl music scene headfirst. Supporting artists like the Guerrilla Girls, Le Tigre, Penny Arcade, Bratmobile, Ted Leo & The Pharmacists, Robin Williams [RIP] and many more.
